This ‘nicecream’ is a great healthy and dairy free icecream alternative for the whole family. You had better stock up on banana and mango because the kids will be asking for this all Summer long!

Mango and banana nicecream

Serves 2

You will need to begin this recipe the day before

4 large, overripe bananas

2 mangoes

¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

Peel bananas, cut into quarters. Peel mango, cut off the cheeks (you can eat the middle part!). Freeze banana quarters and mango cheeks overnight.

When ready to make nicecream, place frozen banana and mango in a blender/food processor and blend until creamy and smooth (add as much or as little almond milk as you need to get the process going – less is better to give a soft serve consistency). Divide into two bowls and serve immediately.
